2012 Update:
San Diego’s favorite place for multicultural entertainment – Market Creek Plaza – is about to get even better! Thanks to the work of a committed team of residents, Festival Park will undergo a transformation to better meet the community’s need for more recreational space that is available to residents of all ages. With the help of a grant from the California Housing and Community Development Department and the City of San Diego, Festival Park will be transformed into into a community park with shade trees, picnic areas, tot lots, and more.
Unfortunately the timing for the park’s construction has prevented us from hosting our annual Arts & Culture Fest this year. However, we will soon be starting plans for our 2013 event. |
